Terms & Conditions for Booking and Travel

Voyage d'une Vie Tanzania Safaris Legal & Policy Guide Updated April 2026

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking your safari, trek, or tour with Voyage d'une Vie Tanzania Safaris. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit (typically 30%) is required to confirm your booking. The balance is due 30 days before arrival unless otherwise agreed.
  • Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods. All bank charges are the responsibility of the client.
  • Late payments may result in cancellation of your reservation.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the following schedule:
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund minus bank fees.
  • 31–60 days: 50% refund of total tour price.
  • 15–30 days: 25% refund of total tour price.
  • 14 days or less: No refund.
  • No refunds for unused services or no-shows.

3. Changes by the Client

  • Requests to change dates, itineraries, or group size must be made in writing and may incur additional costs.
  • We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability.

4. Changes by the Company

  • We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries, accommodations, or services due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, park closures, safety).
  • If a major change is necessary, you will be informed as soon as possible and offered alternatives or a refund if appropriate.

5. Travel Insurance

  • Comprehensive travel insurance (including medical, cancellation, and evacuation) is mandatory for all clients.
  • Proof of insurance may be required before departure.

6. Health & Safety

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel and have all required vaccinations and medications.
  • We are not liable for illness, injury, or accidents during your trip, except where caused by our proven negligence.

7. Liability & Force Majeure

  • Voyage d'une Vie Tanzania Safaris is not liable for loss, injury, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, war, or government actions.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour.

8. Privacy Policy

  • Your personal information is used only for booking and communication purposes and is never sold or shared with third parties except as required to fulfill your travel arrangements.

9. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in Tanzanian courts.
